Over time, we’ve learned that kids really aren’t all that different from grown-ups. We all want to be ourselves, have fun, and feel comfortable and safe. One of our rules is “Don’t tell kids to smile for the camera!” When we put ourselves in their shoes, we wouldn’t want someone telling us to smile and perform either. 

This respectful and natural approach helps us create portraits that truly capture a kid’s essence (this applies to adults as well!) without feeling forced or uncomfortable.
